If you need car racks for bicycles, skis or water sports equipment, Gearing Up has a full selection of Yakima carriers, including Yakima cargo boxes. Service

Gearing Up Bicycle Shop is a full-service shop, providing minor to major tuneups and overhauls, disc brake work, frame straightening, and wheel-building. We work on all bikes, no matter the brand. The turnaround time is usually 24-48 hours at the most, and we guarantee our work.

Walk-ins welcome. If you have a flat-tire, or need a simple adjustment, we can usually do that on the spot. If not, we will give you a free estimate and make an appointment for you.

We pack and ship bicycles, so if you are traveling to Taos and want to ride your own bike while here, we can receive your bike, assemble it, then repack and ship it for you when you are ready to go back home.
